Highlands Union Bank Celebrates Grand Opening in East Sevierville
Highlands Union Bank will hold a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting ceremony at its second full-service branch in Sevierville, Tenn., on Thursday, Dec. 4.
The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. at the new office located at 1824 Veterans Blvd. The public is invited to stop by for a complimentary barbeque lunch, including dessert, hot cider and coffee, along with the music of Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier.
“Just two years ago we opened our first branch in Sevierville, and we’re thrilled to be able to provide a second location for the convenience of our customers,” says Highlands Union Chief Executive Officer Sam Neese. “We encourage our neighbors and friends in the community to stop by, see the new branch office, have lunch with us and register for prize drawings.”
As part of the Grand Opening celebration, Highlands Union is giving away a three-night Carnival Cruise for two to the Bahamas. The Grand Prize drawing will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Participants do not have to be present to win.
Highlands Union opened the Veterans Boulevard branch on Nov. 17. The full-service branch offers complete financial services including free checking, Internet banking and electronic bill pay; credit and debit cards; and home, business, auto and consumer loans. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The drive-thru window opens at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. five days a week.
Highlands Union has assets in excess of $650 million. In addition to Highlands Union’s two branches in Sevierville, the bank serves the region through its main office in Abingdon, Va., and 12 other locations in Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. These include two branches each in Abingdon and Bristol, Va.; offices in Glade Spring and Marion, Va.; full-service locations in Boone and Banner Elk, N.C., and a loan office in West Jefferson, N.C.; and branches in Rogersville, Blountville and Knoxville, Tenn. |
